Weigh Yourself Every Morning
I have read through the years any number of diet and exercise "experts" who say the exact opposite. They say do NOT weigh yourself every day, instead, do it at regular intervals. The show the Biggest Loser does it this way, but I think much of that is because the show needs the weekly drama and suspense. For you, though, I recommend a daily weigh in. Here's why. Keep A Good Log of Your Progress and Goals
All throughout the workouts, Tony Horton urges you to "write it down" when it comes to weights and reps on each exercise. Great advice, and absolutely crucial. The "fat, bald man" inspired me. I have listed to you regularly for the last 4 or so years (just rediscovering you after a year hiatus...thanks a$$hats at FSR...). I realized that my workouts over the last years have been OK, but not great. So, this winter, I pledged myself to the P90X workout to change myself.
